Fritz Polzer
Fritz Polzer was born in 1983 in Heidelberg, West Germany. He holds a degree in political science, which he studied in the U.K. and France. After three years working in fashion publishing in Paris and London, he pursued an MA in documentary filmmaking at the National Film School (UK), training with Kim Longinotto with a focus on cinéma vérité–descended observational filmmaking. He later completed a Diploma in Fine Art at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig, where he studied in the class of Candice Breitz. In addition to his filmmaking practice, Fritz is regularly hired as an ethnographic researcher and consultant, conducting research predominantly in Germany and the U.K.
